Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this training, participants will achieve a level of competency for inspecting fall protection harnesses, lanyards, and associated connectors, like carabiners. In addition, participants will review legislative requirements and standards for Fall Protection equipment. Practical instruction includes inspection and evaluation of defective equipment as per manufacturer's instruction.

Who Should Attend
Supervisors, JHSC members, health and safety representatives, maintenance and engineering personnel, or any worker who as part of their job, need to use and inspect their fall protection equipment, or has responsibility for the inspection of fall protection equipment.

Prerequisites
Participants must have previously completed a one (1) day fall protection training program. Participants should supply their own harnesses for inspecting, donning, and doffing during the practical instruction. The Training Provider will supply equipment that will be defective for participants to evaluate.
Duration
One (1) half-day.
Record of Training
All participants who successfully complete this program will receive a Certificate of Competency.
